Center
Volunteer
Counselor–Serves
in the area
of providing
crisis
intervention
counseling
to women.
Talks to
women about
pregnancy
termination,
adoption,
parenting,
abstinence
and shares
the Gospel
with each
client.
Involves
four hours
of volunteer
service per
week.
Volunteer
Receptionist–Serves
in the area
of answering
phones,
greeting
clients and
ministering
to those in
the waiting
room.
Involves
three to
four hours
of volunteer
service per
week.
Baby Basket
Volunteer–Serves
in the area
of
maintaining
items in the
clothes
closet.
Some
solicitation
of
additional
items would
be helpful
as well.
Oversees
donations of
diapers,
formula,
maternity
and baby
clothes and
other baby
items.
Baby Shower
Host–Serves
in the area
of
coordinating
baby showers
for the
women who
complete
NBRWHC’s
prenatal
classes,
which
usually
consists of
ten ladies.
This is a
wonderful
way to get
your church
involved in
being a
vital part
of NBRWHC.
Maternal and
Newborn
Administrative
Assistant-Serves
in the area
of returning
phone calls,
follow-up
calls,
client
correspondence.
Childbirth
Classes–
Prepares
expectant
mothers for
the birth of
their
babies,
possibly
being
present at
the
delivery.
Abstinence
Education
Presenter–Serves
in the area
of teaching
abstinence
in local
schools,
churches,
and youth
organizations.
Medical
presenters
are also
needed to
present the
medical
facts
concerning
STD’s.
Medical
Clinic
Volunteer–(OB/GYN,
Nurse, Nurse
Practitioner,
or other
medical
professionals)
Serves in
the area of
performing
ultrasounds,
STD testing,
pap smears,
and pelvic
exams.
Child Loss
Recovery
Leader
/Assistants–This
is a class
designed to
care for
those who
have lost a
child
through
pregnancy
termination,
miscarriage,
still birth,
etc. This
spiritual
enrichment
class offers
healing and
the
opportunity
to change
the
participants
forever.
Office
Maintenance–Serves
in any of
the
following
areas:
painting,
hanging
wallpaper,
decorating
assistance,
carpet
cleaning, or
general
office
cleaning
once a week
(dusting,
vacuuming,
emptying
trash, clean
bathrooms,
etc.).
Technical
Assistance–Serves
in helping
us utilize
our
computers
and other
office
equipment to
its fullest
potential by
providing
technical
and
programming
assistance.
Special
Skills
Assistance–This
involves
being
available to
assist
client with
specific
needs such
as medical,
dental,
legal or
financial
advice or
assistance,
job
counseling,
car repair,
plumbing or
any other
special
talent or
service.
Fund Raiser
Assistants–Being
available to
assist with
fund raisers
such as
banquets,
walk-a-thons,
golf
tournaments,
etc.
Donation
Opportunities–Donations
are received
in the form
of financial
contributions,
bequests,
annuities,
in-kind
services,
etc. to
support the
on-going
services of
NBRWHC.
Prayer
Support Team–Serves
in the area
of prayer
for the
counselors,
clients, and
staff of
NBRWHC.
