What Possible Complications
are Involved in Abortion?

Physical Risks:

  • hemorrhaging (extreme bleeding)

  • holes in the uterus causing possible removal known as Hysterectomy

  • cardiac arrest

  • infection, sterility

  • increase of future miscarriages

  • later RH blood trouble

  • tubal pregnancy

  • premature babies in future

  • blood clots to the lung

  • later fatal Hepatitis from blood transfusions

  • abortion related breast Cancer

  • AND EVEN DEATH

Psychological Risks:

  • guilt

  • anxiety

  • psychological "numbing"

  • depression

    • sad mood

    • sudden and uncontrollable crying episodes

    • deterioration of self-concept

    • sleep, appetite and sexual disturbances

    • reduced motivation

    • disruption in interpersonal relationships

    • shame, condemnation, resentment, bitterness

    • mental or nervous breakdown

    • EVEN SUICIDE
